For meatballs:
Ground beef/A combination of beef and pork 1 Pound
Egg 1
Breadcrumbs/Oatmeal /cornflakes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (dryish, starchy particles)
Finely chopped onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , minced
Chopped parsley 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Teaspoon
For sauce:
Canned tomatoes 14 Ounce (1 can, whole or chopped)
Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , minced
Oregano 1 Teaspoon
Dried basil 2 Teaspoon
Red pepper flakes 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
