How to make cranberry sauce. Homemade cranberry sauce is super quick and easy and WAY better than canned cranberry sauce! This recipe includes oranges and cardamom for an unusual twist!
|Fresh cranberries/Frozen cranberries||1 Pound|
|Seedless orange||1 Large , scrubbed|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cardamom seeds||1 Teaspoon , crush (from about 10 whole pods)|
|Water||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1.Dice the orange, skin and all.
2.Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and stir to combine.
3.Cover and put over high heat until it boils.
4.Remove lid and cook for 5 minutes more, stirring frequently, until berries are popped and the liquid has thickened.
5.Cool completely in the refrigerator before serving.
6.Serve and enjoy!
