Chili with beans recipe- My chili recipe has been updated ... with beans! And beer!
Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
Onion | 1 Large , diced | |
Tomatoes/One 16 ounce can | 1 Pound , diced | |
Jalapeno/Serrano chiles | 4 | |
Garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm) , minced | |
Chile powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
Paprika | 1 Tablespoon | |
Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
Cumin | 1 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Bay leaves | 2 | |
Beer/Chicken stock/ beef stock | 12 Ounce | |
Drained kidney beans/Pinto beans | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (one 15 oz can) | |
Grated cheddar | 2 Tablespoon (for serving) | |
Chopped onions | 2 Tablespoon (for serving) |
MAKING:
1.Heat a large pot with beef and crumble it.
2.Add onions and cook until meat is cooked.
3.Add tomatoes, chiles, garlic and stir well.
4.Cook for few minutes.
5.Add chile powder, paprika, salt, cumin, black pepper, bay leaves and stir well.
6.Add beer and cover with lid. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
7.Add beans and cook for another 15 minutes.
8.Garnish with grated cheese and chopped onions before serving.
SERVING:
