Web chef, Kimberly Turner, shares with you How to Cook Southern Style Swiss Chard!


Swiss chard 24 Ounce , leaves separated, torn, stems reserved (2 bunches)
Ham meat 1 Cup (16 tbs) (skin and fat)
Chicken broth 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Freshly ground pepper To Taste



In a large pot, heat ham until it renders fat and crisps up.

Pour chicken broth into pan and stir well.

Add butter and stir well.

Add chard leaves and mix well.

Add ground pepper, cayenne pepper and stir well.

Cook until leaves are wilted.


Serve and enjoy!
