Betty demonstrates how to make Broiled Hamburger Steak. This is a great entrée to go with Onion Rings of Fire, the previous video in Bettys Kitchen.

Ground beef 1 1/2 Pound (I used ground sirloin, but you may use any ground beef.)
Table salt 1 Teaspoon
Ground black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce 2 Teaspoon
Finely minced onion 3 Tablespoon
Well beaten eggs
Milk 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Melted butter 1 1/2 Tablespoon

In a large bowl, place all ingredients, except butter.

Mash with potato masher until blended.

Form with hands into four 6-ounce “steaks” that are ¾-inch thick. (You may make them into the shape of steaks or into circles or ovals.)

Place on broiler pan. Brush with melted butter.

Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat source about 8 minutes per side, turning once. The steaks should be cooked all the way through.

These steaks are great with Onion Rings of Fire, the previous video in Betty’s Kitchen.
