Steak Finger Sandwiches! A true taste of Southern Cooking!


For sauce
Mayonnaise 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Cheese powder 2 Teaspoon
Paprika 1/2 Teaspoon
For steak finger
All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Seasoning salt 1 Teaspoon (Lawry's)
Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon
Cracked black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Whole milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 3
Cube steak 1 1/2 Pound
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Butter 2 Tablespoon
For other ingredients
Swiss cheese slices 4
Buns 4
Tomato slices 8
Lettuce leaves 4



1. Mix mayonnaise, cheese powder and paprika until well combined. Set it in the fridge until ready to make sandwiches.



2. Whisk together all purpose flour, cayenne pepper, seasoning salt and cracked black pepper together. 

3. Whisk egg with whole milk in a separate bowl.

4. Dredge the steak fingers in flour mix.

5. Dip the steak fingers in milk mixture.

6. Coat the steaks again in the flour mix and arrange them on a baking tray. Repeat the same with the other steak fingers.

7. Heat oil in a pan. Add butter to the pan. 

8. Deep fry steak fingers until done on all sides. Divide the steak fingers into 4 parts. 

9. Layer each part with swiss cheese slice. Place it under the broiler and cook until the cheese melts.



10. Apply mayonnaise over the toasted buns. Layer with cheese topped steak fingers.

11. Arrange tomato slices and lettuce leaves over the steak.



12. Top with the other bun half and serve.
