Betty's Kentucky Baked Beans

Betty demonstrates how to make Kentucky Baked Beans for the Easter Table. These flavorful baked beans are made from canned pork and beans, but the recipe may be adjusted to use dry navy beans instead.

Ingredients

Pork & beans 32 Ounce ((2) 16
Molasses 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Tomato ketchup 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Onion 1 Medium , choppped
Light brown sugar 1 Tablespoon , firmly packed
Dry mustard 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground paprika 1/2 Teaspoon
Uncooked bacon slice 2 , chopped into small pieces

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

 

MAKING

2. In a large bowl (preferably a large measuring cup with a spout for pouring), place pork 'n beans, molasses, ketchup, onion, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, and uncooked bacon. Stir until combined.

3. Into an oven-proof baking dish, pour the mixture and bake for about 1 hour. Stir occasionally.

 

SERVING

4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
