Betty's Bourbon Hot Dog Bites

Betty demonstrates how to make Bourbon Hot Dog Bites. This appetizer features a bourbon-ketchup-brown sugar sauce over 1-inch pieces of hot dogs. It's great for serving before a big meal!


Hot dogs 1 Pound (cut into 1
Light brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (firmly packed)
Tomato ketchup 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Bourbon whisky 3 Ounce



In a small saucepan, mix all ingredients, except hot dogs. 

Heat thoroughly until the brown sugar has dissolved. 

Add hot dog pieces and cook until they are heated through. Pour into an heat-safe serving dish. 


Serve with a slotted spoon or cocktail picks onto an appetizer plate.
