Betty demonstrates how to make her Best Butterscotch Blondies. This is a great recipe to take to a potluck dinner or just for watching a sports event at home. It makes a lot, it's quick and easy, and the blondies are delicious!

All | purpose flour | |
Baking powder | 10 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Butterscotch chips | 6 Ounce | |
Chopped pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Making
In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Cool for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, pour melted butter.
Stir in brown sugar and then beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate medium-sized bowl.
Beat into butter mixture.
Stir in butterscotch chips and chopped pecans and mix well.
Spread batter evenly into a greased 15-inch by 10-inch by 2-inch pan or glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees (F) for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into deepest part comes out clean.
Cool blondies in pan.
Serving
Cut into 2-inch by 2 1/2-inch bars and transfer to a nice serving plate.
