On this video I take freshly made Hawaiian Sweet buns and create an Aloha Burger with a teriyaki glaze. Enjoy.

Ingredients

For teriyaki sauce
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , mashed
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Brown sugar 3 1/2 Tablespoon
Sesame seed oil 1 Teaspoon
Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
Soy sauce 10 Tablespoon
Mirin 10 Tablespoon
Sake 4 Tablespoon
Other ingredients
Ground chuck 1 Pound , divided
Salt To Taste
Swiss cheese slices 8
Pineapple slices 4
Hawaiian buns 4

Directions

GETTING READY

Preheat the grill dome to 400 degrees F.

MAKING

For teriyaki sauce – in a saucepan, add in the garlic, ginger, sesame and olive oil. Place over the stove and mix well.

Pour in the soy sauce, mirin and sake. Mix well until everything is well incorporated.

Reserve half of the sauce and reduce the remaining until thickened.

Divide the ground chuck into four equal portions and make patties. Season with salt from both sides; place on the grill, cover and cook for 7 – 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, flip the patties and cook for another 3 – 4 minutes.

Place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on each patty and cook for a few seconds. Meanwhile, marinate the pineapple slices in teriyaki sauce and grill from both sides.

Slice the buns http://ifood.tv/american/1005158-hawaiian-burger-buns-kings-hawaiian-style-bread in half and toast.

SERVING

Place some lettuce leaves over the bottom bun, followed by the patty, pineapple and bacon. Drizzle with some teriyaki sauce and close with the top bun. Serve and enjoy.
