This is the second in a series of no-bake desserts that will impress your guests. This video features poached pears with graham cracker crumble, Banana flambe, Cashew sundae. When you cook for yourself you can Save Money, Eat Healthier, Live Greener and Have Fun.

Ingredients

For poached pears with graham cracker crumble
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Brown sugar 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Pear 1 , sliced
White wine 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cinnamon 1 Pinch
Vanilla 1 Dash
Organic sugar 2 Tablespoon
Heavy whipping cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Graham crackers 2
Butter 2 Teaspoon , sliced
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
For banana flambe
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Brown sugar 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Contreau/Fresh orange juice 1 Tablespoon
Banana 1 , quartered
Vanilla ice cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Basil leaves 2 , chiffonade
For cashew sundae
Vanilla ice cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cashews 1 Tablespoon
Honey 1 Tablespoon

Directions

For poached pears with graham cracker crumble

MAKING

In a pan, add in the butter and brown sugar and stir until melted.

Add in the pear and white wine. Cover the pan and let it cook.

Season the pears with cinnamon and mix well. Cover again and let it cook.

In a blender, add in the organic sugar and blend until powdered.

Add in the vanilla, followed by the heavy whipping cream and mix until soft peaks form. Set aside.

In a processor, add in the graham cracker, butter and sugar and pulse until crumbly.

SERVING

In a serving platter, place the pears, followed by the graham cracker crumble and whipped cream. Top with berries and serve.

For banana flambe

MAKING

In a pan, add in the butter and brown sugar and stir until melted.

Raise the heat and pour in the contreau and cook for a few seconds. Add in the banana and toss on both sides.

SERVING

In a serving platter, place the ice cream and banana. Garnish with some basil and serve.

For Sundae – in a serving glass, make layers of organic vanilla ice cream, cashews and honey. Top with raspberries and chocolate. Serve and enjoy.
