Almond Butter Crunch

Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 1 1/3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
Light corn syrup 1 Tablespoon
Coarsely chopped almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs) , toasted
Milk chocolate bars 16 Ounce , melted (4 Bars, 4 Ounce Each)
Finely chopped almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs) , toasted



1.Heat butter in a saucepan unil melted.

2.Put sugar with corn syrup and 3 tablespoons water.

3.Cook by stirring until the mixture reaches at a crackling stage at 300 degrees.

4.Keep an eye on temperature after 280 degrees.

5.Add chopped nuts quickly to the mixture.

6.Take a 13x9x2 inch pan, pour the mixture in it and allow it to cool.

7.Once settled take it out on waxed paper.

8.Put a layer of half the chocolate and sprinkle finely chopped almonds.

9.Cover with waxed paper and turn.

10.Spread the layer of chocolate and sprinkle nut on the other side.


12.Cut into pieces.


13.Serve in a tray.
