Chocolate Rum Balls

Christmas Recipe Special! This sweet treat is more popularly known simply as rum balls. Chocolate Rum Balls is one of our favorite desserts because it is so-o-o sweet and simple. Very similar to a truffle, very moist, and keeps well for homemade Christmas presents for friends. You may substiture apple juice for the alcohol for a non alcoholic rum ball. Chcolate confections, chcolate candy, homemade candy, are always welcomed by friends! Craft shop supplies makes these look like they are from a commercial chocolate factory, but they are even better because they are fresher, and home made! This party food favorite is a hit with the adults. Cayenne Pepper and Sea Salt are fun toppings, as well as crushed candy canes or colored sugars. White chocolate chips make a nice decor as well.
