Carrots have a sweetness thats released when you sauté them then if you add maple syrup! Boom the best side dish youll ever eat.
|Clarified butter||30 Milliliter (about 2 tbsp)|
|Baby carrots||500 Gram , peeled (about 1 pound)|
|Dry white wine||125 Milliliter (about 1/2 cup)|
|Maple syrup||45 Milliliter (about 2 to 3 tbsp)|
1.Preheat oven to 200ºC (400ºF).
2.In a heavy pan with a lid, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
3.Add the carrots to the pan and stir around until they get a nice caramel exterior.
4.Pour in the wine, bring to a boil and stir.
5.Reduce the wine by half and then add in the maple syrup.
6.Add the salt and pepper, stir to coat and combine.
7.Put on the lid and place in the oven for 20 minutes or so.
8.Serve and enjoy!
