Gingerbread Cake With Candied Tangerine Glaze

The Gingerbread cake is moist and perfectly spiced and the special tangerine glaze Rebecca prefers over lemon glaze for this dessert. Gingerbread cake is a great Christmas or Holiday dessert and is a beautiful dessert on your table with your candied tangerine glaze.


For gingerbread cake:
Eggs 2
Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Grated ginger 2 Teaspoon
Ground cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Ground cloves 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1 Tablespoon
Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
For tangerine sauce:
Tangerines 3
Butter 1 Tablespoon , melt
Powdered sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
For candied orange peel:
Water 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
White sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((for coating the tangerine peel pieces)))
Tangerine peel piece 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
