An absolutely satisfying pakoda ever!!!
Why? Because it's a Cheese Burst Bread Pakoda. Goooo, attack!
Bread slices | 2 , cut in half | |
Grated mozerella cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Besan | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Salt | To Taste , divided (for the batter and the also for the filling butter) | |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Red chilli powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Boiled mashed potato | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Soda | 1 Pinch | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Finely chopped onion | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Finely chopped yellow bell pepper | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Finely chopped green bell pepper | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Finely chopped red bell pepper | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Finely chopped green chillies | 1 Teaspoon | |
Butter | 1 Teaspoon | |
Green chutney | 1 Tablespoon | |
Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying) | |
Ketchup | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (for serving) | |
Green chutney | 2 Tablespoon (for serving) |
MAKING:
1.Take a bowl and add besan into it.
2.Now add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, soda and water into it and mix well to create batter.
3.Take a bowl and add mozerella cheese, processed cheese, onions, red green and yellow bell peppers, green chillies and salt. Mix this mixture well and keep aside.
4.Now take bread slices and apply butter and green chutney on it. Add in the ready mixture into the bread a cover it. Cut it into two halves to give it a pakoda shape.
5.Now heat oil in a pan and dip the bread with stuffing into the batter that we kept ready.
6.Immediately put this into the heated oil and let it deep fry for a few minutes.
SERVING:
7.Serve garma garam pakodas with hot tea.
