Kokum Chilli Rice - How To Make Kokum Chilli Rice - Easy And Quick Recipe

This spicy sour 'Kokum Chilli Rice' is wholesome and flavorsome that will tingle your taste buds.

Ingredients

Kokum 20 Gram
Boiled rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Oil 3 Tablespoon
Ground nuts 1/2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds 1 Pinch
Asafoetida 1 Pinch
Chana dal 1 Teaspoon
Urad dal 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Green chillies 3
Salt To Taste
Chopped garlic 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

1.Soak kokum in water for 30 minutes.

MAKING:

2.Now squeeze water, later add to pan and boil it.

3.Heat oil in a pan, add ground nut and sauté it.

4.Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafetida, chana dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, green chilies, curry leaves and sauté it for a 1 minute.

5.Add this mixture to boiling kokum water and add salt and mix nicely.

6.If required add little of kokum pulp and cook it until it become thick mixture and oil losing out.

7.Switch off flame and add required quantity to rice bowl and mix nicely.

8.Check for seasoning.

SERVING:

9.Serve it hot.
