Dough | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Onion | 1 , chopped finely | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
Coriander seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
Nigella seeds/Onion seeds | 1 Teaspoon (kalonji) | |
Green chilli | To Taste | |
Chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
Butter | 6 Tablespoon | |
Whole wheat flour | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (For dusting) |
MAKING:
1.In a bowl, mix potatoes, onion, green chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, onion seeds, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, ginger, and coriander leaves with your hands.
2. Dust some wheat flour on the board and roll round flat chapatis.
3.Add butter on top and stuff the chapati with the potato stuffing we made and flatten again with a rolling pin.
4.Roast the flattened parathas on the pan applying generous amounts of butter on both sides.
SERVING:
5.Serve piping hot with pickle or chutney
