Wheat flour | 150 Gram | |
Maida | 100 Gram | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 2 Teaspoon (1 tsp is for mixing in the batter and 1 tsp is for milk and sugar mixture) | |
Dry active yeast | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Warm water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Milk | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.
MAKING:
2.In a bowl add wheat flour and maida through a sieve and add salt.
3.Make a well in the middle and add sugar, dry active yeast and warm water.
4. Mix well and add oil to the dough.
5. Knead the dough properly as shown in the video until smooth.
6.Grease a bread tin with oil and place the dough inside the tin for an hour.
7.After an hour, brush the milk and sugar mixture on top of the dough.
8.Preheat an oven for 5 minutes at 180°C. Bake the bread at 200°C for 10 minutes and 180°C for 15 minutes.
9.Once out of the oven unmould and brush the bread with butter.
10.Slice the bread after 3-4 hours.
