For tortillas: | ||
Flour | 105 Gram | |
Baking powder | 2 Gram | |
Salt | 1 Gram | |
Butter | 15 Gram | |
Water | 75 Milliliter | |
For chicken filling: | ||
Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Chopped onion | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm) , crush | |
Chicken cubes | 1/2 Kilogram | |
Black beans | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , soaked | |
Hot salsa | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Cayenne pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Crushed black peppercorns | To Taste | |
For assemble: | ||
Salad cream | 3 Tablespoon | |
Leftover rice | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (mixed with coriander & paprika) | |
Grated cheese | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Finely chopped coriander leaves | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) |
MAKING:
1.Make dough by adding flour, baking powder, salt, butter mix it well and then add water.
2.On a flat surface/silicon mat, roll the dough balls to form tortilla.
3.Keep a pan on medium flame and heat the Tortilla till its golden brown on one side. Flip it and cook in on the other side.
4.Heat some oil on a medium flame, add chopped onions and crushed garlic cook until they turn translucent.
5.Add cubes of chicken cook it till the chicken is no longer pink add more oil if needed.
6.Add soaked black beans let them cook.
7. On low heat add hot salsa, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper.
8.On a tortilla spread some sour cream, some rice,chicken and bean mixture.
9.Sprinkle some cheese and chopped coriander.
SERVING:
10.Wrap it in a foil & the Burrito is ready!
