This super simple 'Lasooni Moong Dal' recipe is for all the kitchen virgins out there.
|Whole green moong dal||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Turmeric powder||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Red chilli powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped coriander leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||18 Clove (90 gm) (15 cloves are for boiling with dal and 3 cloves finely chopped is for tadka)|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Dry red chilli||1|
|Green chilli||1 , finely chopped|
|Steamed rice||4 Cup (64 tbs) (for serving)|
|Ghee||4 Teaspoon (optional)|
1.Take a Cooker, add soaked Moong, tomatoes n salt. Cook the moong.
2.Once done, transfer it to the bowl.
3.Now take a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, green chillies,Curry leaves, Garlic n other masalas.
4.Now add the boiled Moong Dal in the tadka. Boil it for sometime.
5.Serve hot with hot steaming rice. Add ghee on the rice (Optional)
