Fried Zucchini Flowers For Dinner

Fried zucchini blossoms are one of the most exotic appetizers that can be prepared in nearly no time. Try it yourself, you gonna love this!
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Cooking oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Anchovy 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Zucchini blossoms 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Put all purpose flour in a bowl.
Add salt to it.
Add some water. Add grated cheese and eggs. Whisk them well.
Add some more water to the batter.
Whisk well.
Medium-high heat a pan.
Add cooking oil to the pan.
Stuff a piece of cheese and anchovy in the zucchini blossom. Twist the leaves.
Dip the blossom in flour batter and then put in a plate.
Repeat the process until all the blossoms are stuffed.
Fry the blossoms.
Drain on a paper towel.
Sprinkle with salt and lemon juice.
Enjoy!

Don't you think to tap the goodness of Zucchini and to make the dish a lil more healthy, baking zucchini blossoms would have been a better option? I have tried baking Zucchini and it tastes awesome! :)

Thanks for some really mouthwatering fried Zucchini Blossoms. They look so crunchy ! But I agree with Anonymous on the health factor. Maybe baked might not taste as good as these, but are definitely a healthier option . :) But again, these are gr8 for freaking out occasionally! Could you please suggested some good accompaniments for this ? Also what course are these fried Zucchini Blossoms best suited for ?

I made this but without the egg in the batter or any stuffing... they taste great!! even pumpkin blossoms are sooooo great when fried with a simple and seasoned batter... with 'rice and daal'... I dunno if anyone has tried it or not...if u haven't yet, then try it! :)
