Pumpkin Pie In The Sky Smoothie
|Redwood hill farm plain kefir/Green valley organics plain kefir||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Apple juice/Apple cider||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (unsweetened)|
|Pumpkin puree||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (unsweetened, not pumpkin filling)|
|Frozen banana/2 pitted dates||1⁄2 Medium|
|Pumpkin seeds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sweetner||2 Tablespoon (we like maple syrup)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon (1/2-1 tsp)|
|Pure vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pumpkin pie spice||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Optional)|
|Ice cubes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (adjust to reach desired consistency)|
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Top It Off: Add a couple of tablespoons of cinnamon granola (and a bit of candied ginger) to the top, grab a spoon, close your eyes and you’ll swear you’re enjoying Thanksgiving pumpkin pie.
