Soft Frozen Yogurt
|Plain yogurt/Homemade plain yogurt||32 Ounce|
|Envelope of unflavored gelatin||1 (unflavored)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Drain the yogurt through 2 thicknesses of cheesecloth for 30 minutes.
2. Sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let soften for 5 minutes. Add the honey and heat the mixture while stirring until the gelatin dissolves. Pour into a large bowl and cool to lukewarm.
3. Beat the drained yogurt into the gelatin mixture until smooth. Chill. Pour into a 9-inch square pan and freeze, stirring several times to ensure even freezing.
4. Break the frozen mixture into chunks and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
