Yam fries make a very good side dish and appetizer. It can be served as a finger food for kids. You can serve it with some dip made of sour cream or ketchup. Yams are a healthy option over potato as they are rich in vitamins, carbohydrates and fiber.

  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. Peel yams and chop them lengthwise into thin slices.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the yams until crisp.
3. Drain excess oil.
4. Sprinkle salt and serve.
