Layered Yams

Ingredients
  Yams 4 Large, peeled and cut into 1/3-inch slices
  Yellow onion 1 , cut into 1/3-inch slices
  Chopped lovage/Tarragon 3 Tablespoon
  Sea salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. 1. preheat your oven for some time at 300°F.
2. Take a 9" square baking pan and grease it evenly

MAKING
3. In a pan, add the yam and onions and season it with salt, pepper and loyage
4. Make layers of the slices in the baking pan and add a small amount of cream over each layer but add the most of the cream on the topmost layer
5. Cover it with aluminum foil and bake it for an hour or less until the yams and evenlt tender; during the last fifteen minutes of baking, remove the foil
6. Dot with some butter and broil for some time to give it a rich golden colour

SERVING
7. Serve as required
