Yerba Buena Fancy Yams

Ingredients
  Yams 2 Pound (4 medium)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Light corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chocolate 1 Tablespoon
  Chocolate 1 Tablespoon, ground
  Pumpkin pie spice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grand marnier/Brandy 3 Tablespoon
  Pecan halves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Peel yams; cut into 1-inch slices, in large skillet, brown yams in melted butter; sprinkle with salt while cooking.
Blend corn syrup with Ground Chocolate, pumpkin pie spice and Grand Marnier; pour over yams.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
