|Yams||1 Large, peeled and cut into cubes|
|Carrots||2 , sliced|
|Pitted prunes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apple||1 , cored and cubed|
1. Put the yams, carrots, prunes, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes, or until tender.
2. Add apple and honey and cook for 25 minutes longer.
3. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
4. Turn the mixture into an ovenproof serving dish and bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
