Egg Roll Wrapper

Egg roll wrappers are Asian pancakes, made with eggs and all purpose oil. Used as covering for a variety of stuffing, usually consisting of salad items, the egg roll wrappings are prepared by spreading a mixture of eggs, cold water salt, and all purpose flour over a pan and smearing a tablespoonful of peanut oil over the pancake. It is allowed to cook and then turned over on the other side for cooking when golden brown. Egg roll wrappers make delicious bases for a variety of rolls, specifically the egg role that consists of a mixture of raw onions, grated cucumber and carrots along with spicy chilli or tomato sauces. Egg role wrappers by themselves are very tasty without the filling.
