Spicy Yucatan Wings
|Safflower oil||125 Milliliter|
|Minced spanish onion||1|
|Diced green bell pepper||1|
|Diced celery stalks||1|
|Minced garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Minced red chili pepper||10 Milliliter|
|Crushed tomatoes||250 Milliliter|
|Mashed bananas||250 Milliliter|
|Cayenne pepper||3 Milliliter|
|White pepper||1 Milliliter|
|Black pepper||1 Milliliter|
|Chicken wings||1 Kilogram|
Heat the oil in a sauce pan.
Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic and chilies.
Saute until tender.
Add the tomatoes, bananas and seasonings.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Wash and tip the chicken wings.
Pat dry in paper towels.
Place the wings in a large casserole dish.
Cover with the sauce, than cover the dish with foil wrap.
Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 15 additional minutes.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Serve at once.
