Hot Spiced Wine
|Nonalcoholic cabernet sauvignon wine/One 750 milliliter bottle dry red wine||25 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Bottle)|
|Oranges||2 Small, cut into 0.25 inch thick slices|
|Lemon||1 , thinly sliced|
|Fresh orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine wine, 5 orange slices, 3 lemon slices, fresh orange juice, sugar and 8 whole cloves in heavy medium saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Remove from heat, cover and let stand 30 minutes.
Return to same saucepan. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover; chill. Rewarm before serving.)
Stud 6 orange slices with 2 cloves each.
Divide orange slices and 6 lemon slices among cups.
Pour spiced wine over.
