Macedoine Of Fruit In Vermouth

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sweet vermouth/Dry vermouth 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cinnamon bark 1
  Pineapple 1 , peeled and cut in wedges
  Navel oranges 3 , peeled and cut in sections
  Grapes 1 1⁄4 Bunch (125 gm), seeded (Large Bunch)
Directions

Combine sugar, water, vermouth and cinnamon bark, bring to the boil, cover and let stand for 1 hour. Pour the liquid over the prepared fruit and marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator before serving. Serves 6.
