Pot Roast With Wine

Ingredients
  Chuck roast 1 (About 3 To 4 Pounds)
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 , quartered
  Carrots 2 Pound, cut in 3 lengths
  Potatoes 8 , quartered
  Seasoned salt 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red wine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Brown the roast in hot oil in a roasting pan or Dutch oven.
Add the onions, carrots and potatoes.
Sprinkle the seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper over the roast.
Pour the wine and water in the pan.
Bake at 350 degrees, covered, for 2 hours.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour longer or until fork tender.
