|Whole cloves||2 Tablespoon|
|Whole oranges||3 (Unpeeled)|
|Dry red wine||1 1⁄2 Quart (2 Bottles, 4/5 Quart)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Stick whole cloves into peel of whole oranges.
Prick skin several times with fork.
Drop into bottom of slow-cooking pot.
Pour in wine, sugar, and cinnamon.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve hot from the pot.
If desired, cut oranges into wedges as garnish for each serving.
Makes 10 servings.
