Kidney Beans In Red Wine

Ingredients
  Dried kidney beans 2 Cup (32 tbs), soaked and ready to cook
  Onion 1 , stuck with clove
  Clove 1
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), mashed
  Dried thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Parsley sprigs 3
  Bay leaf 1
  Lean bacon 1⁄4 Pound, piece or tied together if sliced
  Dry red wine 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Ground pepper To Taste
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1.Take a large casserole, put beans in it and add onion, garlic and bouquet garni made of thyme, parsley, and bay leaf in cheesecloth.
2.Put bacon, wine and water to the casserole.
3.Cook the ingredients until the mixture boils.
4.Lower the flame and let the ingredients cook for 1- 2 hours until beans turn soft.
5.Take out the onion and bouquet garni and discar both.
6.Take the bacon out.
7.Strain the bean mixture.
8.Add salt and pepper as per taste.
9.Transfer the beans to a heated serving dish.
10.Dice the bacon.
11.In a frying pan, heat butter and cook bacon in it for 2- 3 minutes.
12.Mix the bacon pieces with the beans.

SERVING
13.Serve warm.
