Strawberries In May Wine

Ingredients
  Strawberries 1 Pint
  Unflavored gelatin 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  May wine/Rose wine 3⁄4 Quart
  Frozen strawberries 10 Ounce
Directions

Gently wash strawberries under cold water; drain well.
Turn onto paper towels to dry.
Hull.
In small saucepan, sprinkle gelatine over 1 cup water, to soften.
Heat, over low heat and stirring constantly, until gelatine is dissolved.
Stir in sugar until dissolved.
In medium bowl, combine gelatine mixture and wine.
Place bowl in larger bowl of ice and water.
Chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and mounds slightly; takes about 20 minutes.
Gently fold in strawberries.
Spoon into stemmed dessert glasses; refrigerate 2 hours, or until gela- tine is firm.
Makes 6 servings
