Ingredients
  Lemon 1 , thin pared rind
  Icing sugar To Taste
  Medium sweet sherry 100 Milliliter
  Light red wine 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)
  Grated nutmeg 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Soda water 300 Milliliter
  Thin orange slices 2
  Thin apple slices 2
  Thin peach slices 2
  Mint sprig 1
  Borage 1
Directions

Put lemon rind in a large jug, add sugar, sherry, wine and nutmeg and leave to infuse, in the refrigerator if possible, for 1 hour.
Taste, and if liked add more sugar or a little orange-flavoured liqueur.
Strain into a serving jug or bowl, add chilled soda water and decorate with fruit and herbs.
Serve nicely chilled.
