Wine Glazed Tomatoes

  Tomatoes 4 Large
  Butter/Margarine 4 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  White wine/Rose wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste
  Chopped fresh basil 1 Tablespoon

1. Slice tomatoes into1/4-inch rounds.
2. In large skillet, combine butter and brown sugar and stir until melted. Add salt.
3. Add tomato slices and cook quickly on both sides. Add wine and simmer 1 to 2 minutes or until tomatoes are heated through, basting with the wine sauce.
4. Sprinkle with pepper and chopped basil. Serve in small dishes.
