Pan Cooked Apples In Red Wine
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Low fat spread||1 1⁄2 Ounce (40 Gram)|
|Muscovado sugar||2 Ounce (60 Gram)|
|Cinnamon stick||1 , broken|
|Red wine||5 Fluid Ounce (150 Milliliter)|
|Raspberries||8 Ounce, hulled and thawed if frozen (225 Gram)|
1)Cut peeled and cored apples into wedge shaped slices.
2)In a bowl, take some lemon juice and put in the apple slices to avoid them getting decolorized.
3)In a skillet on low heat, melt low fat spread, add sugar and mix well to form a paste.
4)Add in the drained apple wedges and stir to coast in sugar paste.
5)Peel few strips of orange rind and add to the pan. Extract juice of orange.
6)Now add cinnamon sticks, orange juice and red wine into the pan. Bring to boil and let simmer while stirring for 10 minutes.
7)Add in raspberries and cook for around 5 minutes until apples become soft.
8)Throw away the cinnamon sticks and orange rind.
9)Transfer mixture from pan into serving dish.
10)Garnish with mint and serve immediately.
