Mulled Red Wine

  Boiling water 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , sliced
  Orange 1 , sliced
  Whole cloves 10
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Dry red wine 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)

Mix together the boiling water, sugar, sliced lemon, sliced orange, cloves and cinnamon stick in a saucepan.
Bring to the boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for five minutes.
Add the wine and simmer for ten minutes.
Serve the mulled red wine in mugs.
