Spicy Red Wine Punch
|Water||3 1⁄2 Quart|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Green apples/Yellow apples||3 Medium, peeled, cored, and sliced 1/4 inch thick|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole pitted prunes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||64 Ounce (2 Quart)|
|Rum||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
In a 6- to 8-quart pan, combine water, sugar, and cinnamon.
Bring to a boil over high heat and boil rapidly until reduced to 3 quarts (about 15 minutes).
Meanwhile, mix apple slices with lemon juice.
Add to hot syrup with raisins, prunes, red wine, and rum.
