Hot Spiced Wine

Ingredients
  Burgundy wine 1 Bottle (1 l)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Whole cloves 3
  Cinnamon 2 Inch
  Ground allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Angostura bitters 1 Dash
Directions

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients and warm over moderately low heat until hot.
Do not allow to boil.
To serve, ladle from a decorative heated crock or a copper kettle.
