Mulled Wine With Honey

|Red wine||750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)|
|Sherry||2 Fluid Ounce (50 Milliliter)|
|Clear honey||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)|
|Ground allspice||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated nutmeg||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dessert apple||1 , studded with 10 cloves and baked for 10 minutes|
|Cloves||10 (Studded With 1 Dessert Apple)|
Pour the wine and sherry into a large saucepan and stir in the honey, allspice and nutmeg.
Add the apple and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve hot, straight from the saucepan.
