Mulled Wine With Honey

Ingredients
  Red wine 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)
  Sherry 2 Fluid Ounce (50 Milliliter)
  Clear honey 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)
  Ground allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Grated nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dessert apple 1 , studded with 10 cloves and baked for 10 minutes
  Cloves 10 (Studded With 1 Dessert Apple)
Directions

Pour the wine and sherry into a large saucepan and stir in the honey, allspice and nutmeg.
Add the apple and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve hot, straight from the saucepan.
