Julglogg Christmas Wine

Ingredients
  Aquavit/Gin 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)
  Burgundy 750 Milliliter (2 Bottles)
  Seedless raisins 3 Ounce, cleaned
  Sugar 4 Ounce
  Cardamom seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Cloves 6
  Cinnamon stick 2 Inch
  Grated lemon rind 1 Small
Directions

Pour half the aquavit or gin into a saucepan with the wine. Add the raisins and sugar. Tie the spices and lemon rind in muslin and add to the pan. Cover and bring very slowly to the boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the remaining aquavit or gin and remove from the heat. Take out the muslin bag of spices and, just before serving, ignite the punch with a match. Serve in tumblers or punch glasses.
