Red Wine Ice With Fresh Fruit
|Zinfandel wine/Other dry wine||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon peel||2 Tablespoon, grated|
|Cinnamon stick||1 (1.5 Inch)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
Combine wine, water, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon in large saucepan.
Bring to boil, stirring often, until sugar dissolves.
Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 5 minutes, uncovered.
Cool mixture to room temperature.
Stir in lemon juice.
Pour mixture into 2 shallow metal pans and freeze overnight.
