Snails In Wine

Ingredients
  Dry white wine 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Chopped shallot/Onion 1 Teaspoon
  Canned snails and shells 6 Dozen
Directions

1. Boil the wine with the shallot until reduced by one-half. Strain.
2. Add a little wine to each shell, insert a snail and cover the opening with snail butter. Bake in a preheated hot oven (450° F.) ten minutes.
