Snails In Wine
|Dry white wine||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped shallot/Onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned snails and shells||6 Dozen|
1. Boil the wine with the shallot until reduced by one-half. Strain.
2. Add a little wine to each shell, insert a snail and cover the opening with snail butter. Bake in a preheated hot oven (450° F.) ten minutes.
