Raised Buckwheat Cakes

Ingredients
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs), scalded
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs), boiling
  Active dry yeast/1 compressed yeast cake 1 Tablespoon (1 Package)
  Buckwheat flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs), hot
  Molasses 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.In a bowl, combine milk and water together
2.Cool to lukewarm
3.In the bowl, filled with liquid soften the yeast
4.Now beat in flour to make a batter of pouring consistency
5.Let rise in a warm place overnight
6.Next day remove the bowl and dissolve soda in hot water
7.In the batter, add molasses and salt, make sure to beat thoroughly
8.On a hot griddle, pour the batter from the end of a spoon
9.Finally bake the pancakes until tops are full of bubbles
10.Make sure to turn sides, it should be brown both sides

SERVING
11.Serve with maple syrup
