|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Cold water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1. In a bowl sift dry ingredients.
2. Cut in shortening, add water and shape into a ball.
3. Form dough in 6 balls and roll each into very thin rounds.
4. Cut in wedge shapes and fry in hot fat (375°) about 4 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
5. Serve along with sauce or ketchup or as desired.
