Sprouted Wheat Balls
|Sprouted wheat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Berries)|
|Unblanched almonds||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, peeled|
|Whole wheat bread crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)|
1. Put the sprouted wheat berries, almonds, and onion through the fine blade of a meat grinder or process in a food processor. Turn into a bowl.
2. Add the crumbs, salt, oil, and enough milk to make a mixture that holds together.
3. Form into 1-inch balls. Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a heavy skillet to a depth of 1/8 inch. Fry the balls in the oil until golden. Drain on paper towels.
