|Desiccated coconut||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Desiccated coconut||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Remaining Portion)|
Preheat oven to 350° F (moderate).
Put nuts and dates through food grinder.
Mix in 3/4 cup of cocoanut, sugar and egg.
Shape into rolls, 3/4 " diameter and 1 1/2" long.
Roll in remaining 1/4 cup cocoanut.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350° F for 10-12 minutes.
